Assignments

  1. Add at least five resources to your Diigo bookmarks adding as many tags as you find useful, but also add the tag tieclass for all the sites. You should have at least 20 resources tagged tieclass to get credit for this assignment.Email your class instructor(bkowalski+SymbalooDiigo@tiegapps.net) your Diigo URL (including the tag tieclass). Label it Symbaloo Unit 4 Assignment 1 and be sure to include your name in your email.
  2. Email your class instructor (bkowalski+SymbalooDiigo@tiegapps.net)
    your "Share your WebMix" URL from your new RSS webmix page in Symbaloo (with at least 4 tiles). Label it Symbaloo Unit 4 Assignment 2 and be sure to include your name in your email.
    [Note if your Webmix URL has the word "home" in it you are NOT sending the correct URL--this will not work for sharing]

 

  1. Final Choose one of two alternatives:
  • A. complete the certification process for Symbaloo and forward your completion email to the class instructor. In the subject line, label it Symbaloo Final and be sure to include your name in the email.

OR

  • B. Write a reflection paper that describes 1) how you can use both Symbaloo and Diigo professionally, 2)how you can use Symbaloo and Diigo for your classroom (or your work), 3) a brief description on how these types of web tools can make an impact in education (three to five paragraphs total). Email it to the class instructor. In the subject line, label it Symbaloo Final and be sure to include your name in the email.
